Message from the President

I am truly honored by this appointment and would like to thank our Executive Board of Directors, especially our outgoing president Francella Aguilar for allowing me to shadow her as she led our Chamber this past year. Francella worked very hard and we are all very proud of her.

Being part of U.S. Bank has taught me the importance of growing through differentiation. Now, what exactly does this mean? It means that we serve with devotion, we earn customer loyalty, we create superior products and services, and we deliver unmistakable and remarkable value. My goal for this upcoming year is to grow our chamber through differentiation. You can expect to see our executive team and board members lead this organization into a year of superior service to our chamber members by remaining focused on helping our members grow their business and we will promote collaboration. My vision is to have the Norwalk Chamber work on customer relations and outreach to the community as a whole. I am aware that Norwalk is a unique City, a community consisting of many small and home-based business owners. One of our main focuses will be on those who cannot attend the many events we hold. If the owners cannot attend, we will bring the events to their business. Social media will continue to be an important tool to network and promote our members.

As we begin this new chamber year, I am confident we will continue to have the City’s support to achieve these goals; we all have the responsibility to help this great City of Norwalk and by working together, we can make Norwalk an even better place to live and work. In fact, if you are not a Chamber member, I invite you to sign up today, and if you are a chamber member, please invite someone else to become a member.

Thank you again for this tremendous honor!

Norwalk Chamber of Commerce

Ambassador Committee members serve as official "hosts" at Chamber functions such as ribbon cutting events, grand openings, and breakfast and luncheon meetings. This committee is responsible for contacting new and existing members; inviting members to events, encouraging members to take advantage of Chamber benefits and gathering feedback from members on how the Chamber is doing. The Ambassadors also aim to support the Chamber's member retention efforts.

Meets: Year Round
Chairperson: Karla Butler
Day: 1st Monday
Time: Noon
Location: Norwalk Chamber Office  14783 Carmenita Rd. Norwalk CA

Event Sponsors

Sponsorship Opportunities

The success of Chamber events is often attributed to the response and support of sponsors. For many years Norwalk businesses and organizations have supported the Chamber’s efforts through financial and in–kind sponsorships. And sponsor support continues to be the backbone of the Chamber’s events.

Sponsorships can range from $100 to $5,000. The Annual Golf Tournament offers several sponsorship levels, as does the Business Expo.

The Chamber is committed to making sponsor investments worth a sponsor's time and money. The benefits of sponsorship can vary from event to event, but what does not vary is the recognition the Chamber gives to each sponsor. Sponsors are recognized in print, in public, and on the web. They also receive event "perks" for their generous donations.

It is important to note that not all sponsorships are in the form of cash. Many Chamber members offer their time or service at no charge to the Chamber, or offer a generous discount. Other members donate their products or services for silent auctions and raffles. There are many ways to support the Chamber, and everyone who does is considered a sponsor of the Norwalk Chamber and its work.

Anyone can be a sponsor. If you are interested in sponsoring an upcoming Chamber event or would like more information about sponsorship opportunities, you may also call the Chamber office at 562.864.7785.
